VISA FOR TOURISTS
General Information on visa for Panama
Everyone traveling to Panama must have a valid passport for a minimum of three (3) months from the date of entry into Panama.
Holders of a FRENCH PASSPORT DO NOT NEED TOURIST VISA and can stay in Panama for up to 90 days. Once in Panama, it is possible to extend the period in the migration offices.
Holders of passports from any country who possess additionally the following documents can enter to Panama as a tourist WITHOUT visa:
- Valid permanent residence card issued by the United States of America, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom or one of the states of Schengen area (valid for a minimum of six (6) months from the date of entry into Panama)
- Valid multiple visa, have been used previously in the territory of the issuing State and its validity shall not be less than one (1) year at the time of entering the Panamanian territory, issued by the United States of America, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom or one of the states of Schengen area

When entering Panama, you must also submit:
- Proof of economic solvency for a minimum of $ 500.00 cash, or statement from your credit card. Nationals of the Dominican Republic will have to have the economic solvency of $1,000.00 dollars.
- A round trip ticket.
